How to Get a JVC TV Into Service Mode

Televisions, such as the ones made by the JVC company, contain a secret menu known as a "Service Menu." These menus contain options that cannot be found in ordinary television menus. However, in order to access the service menu for a JVC television, you must perform specific actions in the television's main menu.

  Press the "menu" button on your remote to access your television's main menu. Select the "Clock Set" option in the main menu.

  Set the clock to 3:21 a.m., then select the "Start Clock" option.

  Press the "Mute" button once you see the "Thank You" message after setting the clock. Then hit the "Up" or "Down" button. This will take you to the service menu.
