How to Hack "Halo 3" Armor on Xbox Live

While many of the armor parts for heroic Spartan players require plenty of online skill in the multiplayer Xbox Live modes of "Halo 3," you can earn complete sets with minimal effort. These armor types will differentiate you from the crowd, and when you choose your battle colors and emblem, you will make it your own. It takes some skill at the game to earn complete armor sets, but once you know the steps, the process becomes fairly straightforward.

  Earn the ODST helmet--predominately worn by the Orbital Drop Shock Troopers in "Halo 3 ODST"--by playing ten games over Xbox Live. This helmet does not have any other matching chest or shoulder pieces, allowing you to mix and match it with Spartan armor types. You do not have to win the ten matches, but you must complete them to the end of the game.

  Complete the Campaign mode of "Halo 3" to unlock the entire set of EVA Spartan armor. As you finish the levels, the body, shoulders and helmet of the EVA armor will become available for use in all multiplayer vs. modes.

  Collect all 13 hidden skulls in the Campaign mode to earn the complete Hayabusa set of Spartan armor. An old human skull appears in odd locations in each level. You will unlock the chest armor with five skulls, the shoulder armor with nine skulls, and the coveted helmet when you get all 13.
