How to Install the Polycom VSX 7000

The Polycom VSX 7000 is a discontinued home video conferencing system. The system consists of a camera unit, a speaker unit and a microphone. The speaker and microphone are made specifically for the various Polycom VSX systems. Installation consists of connecting the units to each other and to a TV. You also need to connect a router so you can video conference over the Internet.

      Place the camera unit on top of your TV.

      Connect the wire from the VSX 7000 speaker to the camera unit. Plug the speaker into a electrical socket.

      Connect the microphone cable from the VSX 7000 microphone to the camera unit.

      Connect an Ethernet cable from the router to the camera unit.

      Connect either an S-Video or yellow composite cable from the camera unit to the TV.
