Look through the yellow pages of your phone book under television or log on to the Internet and go to the yellowpages.com website. Type in television repair for the type of company as well as your location or zip code to locate repair services. Write down the names of the companies that are located and want to be considered for use.

Check to see if the repair services are certified by International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians or some other standards organization, or look to see if they are factory trained.
- 3
Go to the Better Business Bureau website and type in the names of the companies to review any complaints that have been made. Also look at how long they have been in business. This will help you narrow down your list. Remember that a few complaints does not make it a bad company, and a few complaints from a older company might be better than no complaints from a company that has been in business for just a year or so.
- 4
Ask friends, family and neighbors if they have dealt with any of the companies or have heard anything about them. Chances are you will find someone that has at least heard something and can give you feedback.
- 5
Research other means of obtaining service repair including the local Chamber of Commerce that can potentially provide a list of repair services. Consider also contacting the place of purchase to inquire if service is available. Often times big box and specialty entertainment stores both have qualified and trained technicians.

Choose the repairman that feel will do a good job, based on all the information that obtain.

How to Look for a Television Repair Man
Televisions, like most large appliances, can last for many years with some models designed to last up to 100,000 hours of use without experiencing problems. However, every once in a while one is made that has problems. If you have a new TV that is not working properly, or you have an old one that is starting to show its years, you should have a television repairman look at it before you give up hope. In some cases the TV can be repaired for less than you would pay for a new one. To get it repaired, you will first need to find a reputable repairman that can be trusted.
