How to Look Up Phone Number Information

Modern PC users might be accustomed to effortlessly accessing information online, but knowing which websites offer the best information might not be so easy for all to find. Users can obtain phone number information from almost any website with access to a directory database, and several of these sites are available in a search engine results list. Unfortunately, as the customer, you may not know the freshness and validity of the information presented on these various sites. However, certain websites are consistently reliable.

  Navigate to the White Pages website to look up the phone number for a person. Type in the person's name, along with either city and state or zip code. Click "Find" to see the results.

  Navigate to the Yellow Pages website to look up the phone number of a business. Type in the name of the business in the "What" field. Type the city and state in the "Where" field. Click "Find" to see the results.

  Navigate to the Infobel website. Click the down arrow to select the country from the drop-down menu; click the "OK" button. Click the down arrow to choose the type of directory -- e.g., White and Yellow pages. Click "OK." Fill in the requested information, then click the "Find It Now" button to see the results.
