Powhatan is the perfect town for a quaint, Southern wedding. Powhatan is a small town of approximately 28,000 people bordered by the James River and the Appomattox River. The area offers a small town setting with a historical heritage for a wedding, Powhatan offers many churches of many different denominations as well as several other historical settings to suit a bride and groom's needs for a venue.
