How to Print Envelopes Using HP 7310

Aside from scanning, faxing and copying documents, the HP 7310 all-in-one-printer can be used to print on different kinds of paper. Just like other printers, you can use your HP 7310 printer for printing envelopes of any size. If you want to print envelopes using your HP 7310, you can do so in a few easy steps.

      Open the envelope document. If you are using Microsoft Word 2007, click the "Mailings" tab and then "Envelopes." Type the delivery and return addresses in the appropriate fields.

      Select "Options" to choose the size of the envelope that you are going to print. Make sure that the size of the envelope is similar withto the settings of the document to prevent overlapping printouts. If the size of the envelope is not in the list of options, click "Custom Size." Type the dimensions of the envelope. If you are not sure about the envelope's dimensions, use a ruler to measure the length and width of the envelope.

      Place the envelope into the paper tray of your HP 7310 printer the same way you would place an ordinary sheet of paper. Be sure that the envelope is plain and that it does not have buttons or clasps that can get in the way of printing.

      Click "File," "Print" and then "OK." Wait for the printer to finish envelope printing.
