How to Refill an HP 920Xl

HP or Hewlett Packard 920XI printer owners have the option of refilling their printer cartridges with black ink. This allows them to cut back on costs because they do not have to buy a whole new cartridge for their device. This type of printer cartridge comes with an opening on the side, which makes it easy to refill with black ink. If you have a syringe, some paper towels and understand where to place your ink, you can refill an HP 920Xl with little effort.

  Take out your HP 920XI cartridge, and put the component in an upside-down position. The cartridge needs to be on a flat area such as a table covered with paper towels.

  Pour about 4 ml of ink into your 10 cc syringe.

  Find the hole on the side of the printer cartridge which points up. Then, gently inject the ink into this open outlet.

  Pat the hole with a clean paper towel to get rid of any leftover ink. Put the cartridge back in your printer, and go through three cycles of cleaning.
