Lexmark 36A Black Refill Kit

Remove the ink cartridge from the printer. Remove the label to reveal the fill holes. Remove the contents of the refill kit. There is one syringe, one bottle of black ink and one thumb drill.

Use the supplied thumb drive to make the fill hole larger. Place the tip on the top left hole and twist until the hole is enlarged.

Fill the syringe with 15 ml of black ink. Place the needle in the bottle and pull up on the plunger part of the syringe. Place the needle in the cartridge. Press down slowly on the plunger to inject the black ink. If any ink oozes out of the hole, stop and wipe with paper towel. Cartridges that are not empty will not take the full amount of black ink.

Place the Lexmark 36A cartridge in the printer. Run two to three test pages using any document to cycle the ink. You do not need to replace the label after filling.
Lexmark 37A Color Refill Kit

Remove the ink cartridge from the printer. Remove the supplies from the refill kit. There are three syringes, one bottle of cyan, magenta and yellow ink, and one thumb drill. Remove the label to reveal the fill holes.

Use the thumb drive to make the fill holes larger. Place the tip on the fill hole and twist until the hole is enlarged. The cyan color is at the bottom right, yellow is at the bottom left and magenta is at the top left.

Fill one syringe with 7 ml of cyan ink, one with magenta and one with yellow. Place the needle in the bottle and pull back on the plunger. Place the needle into the ink cartridge. Press down slowly on the plunger to inject the color ink into the correct color fill hole. If any ink oozes out of the hole, stop and wipe with paper towel.

Place the Lexmark 37A cartridge in the printer. Run two to three test pages using any document with color text to cycle the ink. You do not need to replace the label after filling.
