If you want to reinstall the HP Officejet Pro L7580 after you uninstalled it, you will have to go through the entire installation process over again. This involves not only connecting the printer to your computer, but also installing the software that came on the installation disk packaged with the device.

  Plug one end of the USB cable into the HP Officejet Pro L7580 and the other end into an available USB port on your computer.
