Park the car on level ground and turn off the ignition.

Locate the two T-20 Torx screws at the top of the instrument panel. One screw is on the right, and one is on the left. Loosen and remove both screws by turning them counterclockwise with a T-20 Torx driver.

Grasp the instrument panel by its edges with both hands and pull it directly away from the dashboard about 2 inches. Push the instrument panel to the left so that it clears the steering wheel and the rear of the instrument panel is accessible.

Locate the two electrical cables attached to the rear of the instrument panel. Locate the tab and latch that secure each cable connector at the rear of the instrument panel.

Release each cable connector by pressing down on the tab while simultaneously pulling the latch away from the instrument panel. Pull the instrument panel free of the car.
