Put on rubber gloves and safety glasses for protection.

Press the tip of a cold chisel against the edge of the crack, while holding it at a 45-degree angle toward the crack. Using a hammer, pound on the chisel's head to deepen the crack by an inch and widen it underneath the surface by 1/2 inch. Chisel along both sides of the crack.

Scrub the crack with a wire brush to loosen dirt and debris. Blow all debris out of the crack using a leaf blower. Make sure the crack is free of dust, dirt, debris and moisture.

Combine ready-mixed mortar with water in a 5-gallon plastic bucket using a trowel. Read mortar manufacturer's directions on the product's label for specific mixing ratios and instructions.

Add epoxy concrete to the mortar. Refer to the concrete manufacturer's directions on the product's label for information on how much epoxy concrete to add and how to mix it with the mortar.

Fill the entire crack with the mixture using the trowel. Force the mixture to the bottom of the crack. Overfill the crack slightly.

Scrape off the excess mixture with the trowel. Smooth the mixture so that is it level with the surrounding concrete.

Allow the mixture to cure for a week. Lightly sprinkle water over the patch four times a day for seven days to allow the patch to properly cure.

Apply two coats of concrete sealer to the repair using a paintbrush. Allow the concrete sealer to dry according to the manufacturer's directions.
