How to Reset the Change Oil Light on a 2005 Chevrolet Impala

Many Chevrolet models come with GM's engine oil life management system, which displays a "Change Oil" light when it's time for an oil change. You can reset the system after an oil change to get rid of the light. On most GM vehicles, including newer Impalas, you'll reset the system through the driver information center in the odometer display. On the 2005 Chevrolet Impala, you have to use the radio to reset the oil life management system.
