How to Reset the Oil Light on a 2008 Impala
The 2008 Chevrolet Impala includes a monitoring system to alert you when your car needs an oil change. Depending on your driving habits, the oil change interval could vary from every 3,000 miles to once per year. General Motors recommends that you change the oil at least once per year in any case. Reset the engine oil-life indicator when you change the oil yourself to maintain the timing of the monitoring system.
