How to Set Up UConnect for a Phone on a Chrysler

UConnect users have the ability to pair a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone with a Chrysler vehicle. This allows you to control the phone by using vocal commands, and also lets you receive calls through the vehicle's audio system. To set up UConnect for a phone, it must be a Bluetooth-enabled phone and the vehicle must be equipped with a UConnect-enabled radio and receiver.

  Go to the cell phone's "Bluetooth Settings." Then, power on the UConnect radio. Click the "Discoverable" option to enable it if you see this choice on the phone.

  Press the UConnect icon, which resembles a picture of a small phone. Speak the words "Setup" and "phone pairing." Then, say "Pair a phone." This enables you to configure a PIN number that contains four digits.

  Go to the Bluetooth menu of the phone. Look for a new device titled "UConnect" and choose this option. Then, type in the PIN code to finish the connection process.
