How to Stop a Blue Screen That Says to Run Chkdsk

Windows Chkdsk is an efficient system application that inspects a damaged hard drive's clusters and sectors. Additionally, the utility fixes any file residing in these damaged hard drive areas, whenever possible. Depending on your hard drive's condition, you may receive an unexpected blue screen during Windows startup that is preparing an automatic Chkdsk operation. This usually occurs with a hard disk that is continuously performing poorly. However, you can disable the appearance of such a blue screen through the Windows registry.
