How to Stop PC Doctor From Trying to Defragment Upon Startup

PC Doctor is a computer maintenance program that lets you repair and optimize your computer, such as by defragmenting your hard drive. However, PC Doctor may try to defragment your hard drive whenever you restart your computer, slowing you down. You can disable this behavior from within the PC Doctor program interface so that it doesn't take up your time whenever you reboot your machine.

      Open the PC Doctor software program.

      Select the "Settings" menu button, then click the "Disk" option.

      Click on the "Optimizer" button.

      Click "Run Defragment on Unclean Startup" to de-select it.

      Click the "OK" button to save the settings change.
