How to Use Bayer Advanced for Vegetables

Bayer Advanced is a strong herbicide that can kill those small weeds and unwanted plants in your garden. If your vegetable crops are often infested by weeds, you can apply Bayer Advanced to get rid of these plants and prevent them from growing again. The product comes in both a ready-to-use bottle and a concentrated formula, which you need to mix with water before applying to your crops.
    • 1

Locate the weeds and unwanted plants near your crops to determine your target area for applying the Bayer Advanced formula.

    • 2

Fill your spray can with a gallon of water, and shake the Bayer Advanced concentrated formula in its bottle.

    • 3

Pour around half a cup of concentrated formula into the can of water. Do this slowly to allow the formula to mix thoroughly with the water while you add it in.

    • 4

Pump the sprayer three to four times in order to pressurize it. Shake the Bayer Advanced solution to mix thoroughly with the water..

    • 5

Check the sprayer's nozzle to make sure that it is completely open before pointing it towards the infested area of your crops

    • 6

Spray the formula onto the weeds until they are fully wet. Fill the can of the solution with water once it empties, and shake the can lightly. Pour the water onto the affected area.

    • 7

Wait for at least 24 to 48 hours before checking the weeds or plants. Once they have turned yellow, wear protective gloves and pluck them out of your garden.
