Programming

Press the "Where To" option on the main menu page. Make sure the antenna is flipped up to ensure you are receiving a satellite signal.

Select the "Address" tab. You will need to enter the physical address of the place where you are going.

Select the state and then city of your desired location. Make sure you press "Done" after each entry. You can use the directional arrows on the GPS screen to navigate through the different listings options.

Type the address number of the location and then type the street name of the location. Press "Done" when complete.

Select the correct street name from the listing. If there is more than one matching address, select the one you want to ride to. Streets with similar names will be listed together. Some streets may have the same name but end with "Street," "Avenue" or "Road."

Touch "Go" to begin the navigation process.
Route Options

Press the "Settings" option on the main menu page.

Select "Navigation." You will see a menu that will show you what you can program the GPS to avoid while directing you to your destination.

Choose the "Vehicle" setting to specify the type of transportation you are using. "Bicycle" is a listed option.

Select the "Enabled" option to avoid certain road types, including highways and freeways. You can also choose to avoid construction zones. You will make your selection on this page. Check all that apply.

Press "Done" when finished to update the navigation settings.
