Located at Beaumont's Parkdale Mall, Spice 6 is a casual place to dine on traditional Indian cuisine during mall hours. Serving dishes such as chicken tiki masala and chicken korma, with sides of naan and spicy Indian sauces. Chicken or lamb shami kebabs are also served up, with mint and coriander. This Indian eatery is located in the food court of the mall, on the main level. The mall is open until 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Beaumont residents can take a 90-mile drive westward to Houston's Indika restaurant. The cuisine is progressive Indian and features dishes such as chickpea crepes, tandoori chicken and paneer curry. There is a variety of Indian breads available, including pistachio apricot or beet and amul naan. Every Thursday and Friday, a prix fixe lunch is available for $22 as well as a Sunday brunch served each week. Indian cooking classes are also available for those wanting to learn from the restaurant's chef, Anita Jaisinghani.

Eighty-miles west of Beaumont, Texas, the Mogul Indian Restaurant of Houston serves traditional Indian lunch fare served Monday through Sunday and dinner from Monday to Saturday. Main dishes start at $8.95 and include Rogan Josh, fish curry and chicken korma. Desserts are served also and priced from $2 to $3, with saffron-flavored ice cream and Indian rice pudding on the menu.

This Indian restaurant is located 90 miles from Beaumont, in Webster, Texas. Traditional Bombay street food is on offer, as well as southern Indian, Chinese-Indian and tandoor dishes. The lunch buffet is available Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. for $9.95, and noon to 3 p.m. over the weekend for $11.95. A full bar menu is also available and all major credit cards are accepted.
