    Electronics Engineer

    • Electronics engineers develop various types of electronic devices, including televisions, stereos, communication systems, electric motors, broadcasting systems, radar and video game devices. These engineers design, develop and test new devices to prepare them for consumers. While those interested in becoming an electronics engineers must have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, many employers prefer that applicants have a master's degree in the field. The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers offers professional certification that enhances professional credibility, increases career opportunities and demonstrate professional commitment. As of 2010, Indeed reports that electronic engineers average $84,000 per year.
