    • Roombas are battery-powered, and use iRobot's Advanced Power System (APS) 3000 mAh NiMH battery. The battery utilizes a charger base to recharge in less than three hours, and with a full charge the Roomba can clean up to four rooms before needing a reboot. As of November 2010, a battery costs $69.99.
