Single women citizens may avail of business grants depending on the nature of the business they wish to develop and manage. Single women business grants range from business ownership assistance, business development to farm ownership and management assistance. Depending on the nature of the program, eligibility requirements may differ. Interested parties may need to show proof of eligibility to qualify.
Women's Business Ownership Assistance

Single women can get primary business support from the federal government through the Women's Business Ownership Assistance program of the office of Small Business Administration. The main objective of the program is to help women get rid of discriminatory barriers including easier access to capital and marketing opportunities. Further, the program also funds women's business centers (WBCs) that provide complete business support to women seeking to expand or start their own business endeavor. Single women entrepreneurs can get financial and managerial assistance from WBCs to address existing and potential small business concerns. Further, single women seeking to start their own business may also get business and marketing training from such centers. The program also provides inventory procurement and internet services assistance. The Women's Business Ownership Assistance is authorized under the Small Business Act of 1953.
Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers

Single women farmers and ranchers may also get business assistance from the federal government if they wish to start and operate their own farm or ranch. The Department of Agriculture offers its Outreach and Assistance for Socially Disadvantaged Farmers and Ranchers program to socially disadvantaged ranchers and farmers including single women. The main objective of the program is to provide agricultural programs to help ranchers and farmers become independent and economically capable. Programs under this grant include business training, outreach and technical assistance. The program is also under the office of Departmental Management.
Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program

Single women microentrepreneurs can get skills and technical assistance to successfully start and manage their own microenterprise through the Rural Microentrepreneur Assistance Program from the Department of Agriculture. Further, the program also seeks to grant continuing financial assistance to help microentrepeneurs, including single women, to successfully sustain their enterprises. Other projects provided to qualified entrepreneurs include market development and business planning assistance. The program also funds Microenterprise Development Organizations (MDOs) initiatives.
