Tiburon Tuscani Specifications

    • The Hyundai Tuscani, sold as such in South Korea and Singapore, but sold in much of the West as the Tiburon, is a low-priced coupe with sporty exterior styling. It debuted in 2003, and the model was discontinued in 2008. According to an Edmunds.com review, the 2008 Hyundai Tiburon was outdone in performance by other models in its class.

    Dimensions

    • The compact Hyundai Tiburon is 173 inches long, 69.3 inches wide and 52.4 inches high, with a 99.6-inch wheelbase. Its curb weight is 2898 pounds. Inside, it seats four. Passengers in the back have 29.9 inches of legroom, while front riders have 43.1 inches of legroom. The Tiburon offers about 35 inches of headroom and 14.8 cubic feet of luggage capacity.

    Engine, Drivetrain and Fuel

    • The Tiburon's four-cylinder, 2-liter engine produces 138 horsepower and 136 foot-pounds of torque at base trim level. It delivers power to the front wheel axle via either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Upgraded trim levels feature a 2.7-liter V6 engine that generates 172 horsepower and 181 foot-pounds of torque. The SE model is available only with a six-speed manual transmission, and the GT Limited comes only with an automatic transmission.

      The coupe's fuel tank holds up to 14.5 gallons. The car's fuel efficiency in combined city and highway driving is 23 miles per gallon.

    Trim Levels

    • The 2008 Hyundai Tiburon is available in four editions: the standard GS or the upgraded GT, SE and GT Limited trims. The GS edition comes standard with a rear spoiler, full power accessories, 16-inch alloy wheels and a six-speaker Kenwood stereo system. The GT version adds 17-inch wheels, cruise control, upholstery upgrades and more. The SE, a sportier model, has fewer luxury features, but a higher spoiler, aluminum pedals and red leather interior accents. The GT Limited, the highest trim level, offers a sport suspension, a sunroof, automatic climate control and full red leather upholstery.
