Torque Specifications for the 2.0 Liter Chrysler Dodge Four-Cylinder

    • A hatchback economy car, the Caliber was developed and manufactured by the Chrysler Motor Vehicle Company and sold under Dodge brand name. The current Caliber is built on a platform also used for the Dodge Avenger and Jeep Compass SUV. The Dodge Caliber is available with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that is only utilized for Caliber models.

    Engine

    • The Caliber's 2.0-liter, four cylinder engine produces 158 horsepower at 6,400 rpm, has a displacement of 1,998 cubic centimeters, a bore of 3.39 inches, a stroke of 3.39 inches and a compression ratio of 10.5:1. The engine is electronically limited to an engine speed of 6,750 rpm.

    Torque

    • The Caliber's 2.0-liter engine is capable of producing a maximum of 141 lb-ft of torque.

    Torque RPM

    • To produce its maximum 141 lb-ft of torque, the 2.0-liter engine must be working at a rate of 5,000 rpm.

    Fuel Economy

    • The 2.0-liter equipped Caliber has EPA estimated fuel economy for city and highway driving of 23 and 31 mpg, respectively.
