Anxiety Scales

Anxiety scales are questionnaires that individuals and mental health professionals use to determine a person's level of anxiety, if any. There are different anxiety scales to measure different types of anxiety. Some scales are for a particular age range and gender.
  • Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale Test

    • The Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale Test takes its name from its creator -- Dr. Michael R. Liebowitz. His test determines if a person is suffering from social anxiety and to what degree.

    Multidimensional Anxiety Scale for Children

    • The Multidimensional Anxiety Scale for Children (MASC) is aimed at children ages 8 to 19. It determines if a child in this age range suffers from an anxiety disorder. There are both a long and a short version of MASC. The long version finds inconsistencies and fully assesses first-time users. The short version is for follow-up testing.

    Adult Manifest Anxiety Scale

    • There are three versions of the Adult Manifest Anxiety Scale, each targeting a different age range. Each version discovers whether an adult over the age of 19 is suffering from anxiety and to what degree.
