The Financial Management Association International (FMA) has been representing professionals involved in financial decision making since 1970. The association is open to financial managers, students who are pursuing finance degrees and professors who teach finance classes. The FMA also creates publications to educate its members about financial management topics. The topics that the organization has studied include billing procedures, health care reform and accounting and reporting principles. Media Financial Management Association

The Media Financial Management Association (MFM) was founded in 1961 and was originally known as the Broadcast Cable Financial Management Association. The association represents the needs of financial professionals in the media industry. As of 2010, the MFM has more than 1,000 members in the United States and Canada who work for radio stations, television networks and cable stations.
