How to Choose the Right N Router

N routers have given laptops real wire freedom, and that is another reason laptops are enjoying rising popularity. They finally are portable and reliably so. For so long wireless was unreliable or too expensive. Times have changed. Wireless has made a giant leap ahead promising smooth streaming video and music, as well as flawless call handling. Of course, the life link to this new-found portability is the N router. That tenuous wireless freedom hinges on the N, so do not be careless or haphazard when it comes to choosing the right N router. Tread carefully and choose wisely.

Shop for N routers which provide sharing of video, photo and music files, as well as document sharing. Look for a router with intelligent antenna technology which has multiple stream capability and receives even the remotest signals. Make sure your new router has prioritization ability that allows multiple applications to stream smoothly and uninterrupted.

Shop around for the best price to be found on your N router. Expect prices to vary, but they will only vary slightly. Be prepared to pay more for the N router than the G router because they are worth it in features, strength and functionality. Do not buy the basic N router just to save a few dollars, since they have reported more problems and fewer features. Buy one of the top-of-the-line N models, or wait until you can.

Do not try to mix the G with the N, since this results in a dramatic speed decrease. Do not expect any exponential increase in your current speeds. The routers will be limited to the speed at which you currently navigate.
