How to Connect an Off-Air HD Antenna to a DirecTV Dish
DirecTV offers satellite programming that includes basic, cable and premium channels. In some areas, local channels may not be available in HD through DirecTV, but an off-air antenna can receive them. DirecTV receivers have an included off-air antenna port that allows you to access these HD channels through your receiver.
