How to Copy & Paste in OFP Map Editor

The Operation Flashpoint, or OPF, game series for the PC pits teams of players against one another in first-person combat. The multiplayer aspect of the games leads to exciting, large-scale battles where teams of human players compete. The Operation Flashpoint Map Editor lets players create their own maps to utilize in multiplayer mode, but this can become time-consuming. Fortunately, the Map Editor's copy and paste capability allows a player to design a layout more efficiently.

      Open the Operation Flashpoint Map Editor.

      Choose Unit mode by clicking on the Unit button in the game menu. Alternately, press "F1."

      Set your unit parameters. When you select Unit mode, the Unit Parameters screen will appear. Select the unit's side, rank and class and click "OK."

      Click on the unit icon. The icon will appear on the screen after you have selected the unit parameters.

      Press the "CTRL" key and the "C" key at the same time. This will make a copy of the unit.

      Press the "CTRL" key and the "V" key. This will paste a copy of the unit in the onscreen area of the map. You can press this key combination as many times as needed to paste multiple copies of the same unit.
