How to Get Stone Ward on "Final Fantasy X"

"Final Fantasy X," the first "Final Fantasy" game for the venerable PlayStation 2 game console, introduced the customization game-play mechanic. Essentially, once you had obtained a certain character, Rikku, as a party member, you were able to add various abilities or protections to your weapons and armor, provided you had the right equipment. Stone Ward, for instance, can be added to a piece of armor and will give anyone who wears said armor a chance to negate petrification attacks from enemies.

  Buy or otherwise obtain 30 Soft potions. You can buy these potions from most shops, and enemies will occasionally drop them as well.

  Open your menu screen and select the "Customize" option.

  Select the armor to which you wish to add Stone Ward.

  Select the "Stone Ward" option in the menu. This will consume your Soft potions and will add Stone Ward to your armor.
