Open a new document, and select the "Tools" menu. Under "Tools," select "Labels" and "Multi-Entry Labels," and then press "OK."

Select either "Laser and Inkjet" or "Dot Matrix" in the "Label Settings" section.

Select the mailing label product to be used, including its product number. Verify that information with the labels' packaging information.

Select the radio button "New Document."

Enter your mailing information. A typical mail label sheet is 8 1/2 by 11 inches and contains two columns with five labels in each. Keep your text within the gray screen lines that indicate the outline of the label.

Print a full sheet of labels on plain paper as a test before printing on the actual labels. Review the printout against the labels to be sure that the correct specifications have been met.
