How to Reconnect to a Qwest Server

Getting kicked off a Qwest server can be attributed to your location, the type of Qwest internet service used and your computer's equipment. Internet servers kick off users occasionally but getting back online is a process that doesn't require much time. You'll get kicked off more often using a dial-up network, but it can happen with high-speed services such as broadband or DSL.

  Stop any pages that were loading when you got kicked off the server. This makes reconnecting easier. Close all windows or leave them open and click refresh once you have been reconnected.

  Click on your internet icon. The shape and location of the icon will depend on the type of computer you are using. However, the icon will change colors and appearance or a balloon might come up that says you no longer are connected.

  Click "Refresh" once you've opened your internet connection box. When you see your Qwest connection, click on it to reconnect.
