How to Register Office Home & Student 2007

Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 is a version of the Microsoft Office suite of productivity applications. It is designed for the home personal computer user. Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint are examples of applications included in the Office suite. You are allowed to use the Office suite for a limited number of times after installing it before you must activate and register it. Fortunately, you can use the suite's built-in activation and registration wizard to complete the process.

  Launch one of the applications in the Office Home and Student 2007 suite and click the "Office" button. Select "[Program Name] Options" from the drop-down list, where "[Program Name]" is the name of the Office application, such as Excel. The Options dialog window will open.

  Click the "Resources" tab, then click "Activate." The Activation wizard will launch.

  Click "Activate Now," then follow the prompts to activate and register the Office suite. For example, enter the product key number and personal information when prompted by the wizard. The wizard will connect to the Internet, then activate and register the suite with Microsoft.
