Use the scraper to gently scrape away the glue from the gasket or object with glue. If the item is easily accessible, a scrub pad or similar item can help to remove the glue.

How to Remove Gasket Glue
When a gasket is added to any object, an adhesive or glue is added as well. The glue residue can remain behind when you change the gasket, or the glue may get on other objects when you add glue to a new gasket. Regardless of the reason, removing the gasket glue takes a little work.
