How to Restore an Info Cache File

Cache files store recently used information in disk caches for a specific program. These files are used in various Web browsers, image editing programs and applications. Cache files help speed up the loading process of recently viewed information, such as a certain websites. Info cache files are stored on the internal hard drive. If you accidentally delete info cache files, you can recover them with a data recovery program, many of which are available for free online.

      Download a data recovery program for no cost online. Such programs include Easeus, Tokiwa and Recuva. Install the program on your computer and open it.

      Select the hard drive as the location to be scanned; the data recovery program will scan the drive to locate the deleted info cache files and other deleted files.

      Click on the info cache files you want to restore, then click the "Restore" button. The info cache files will be restored to your computer.
