DVD Players

Some DVD players have built-in support for videos stored on flash drives. These DVD players have USB ports, either on the front or back. The user can plug his flash drive into the USB port and navigate the flash drive's directory using the DVD player's remote control.
Video Game Consoles

Both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 support USB video playback. Much like DVD players with USB support, a user can plug the USB drive into a spare USB port on his gaming console. The user can access the video on the drive by navigating the console's menus with either a remote control or the controller. Both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 support MPEG-4 in most of its more popular forms.
