Introduced in 2005, the SRT-6 trim tried to boost sagging sales by introducing a new engine, an AMG supercharged engine that could produce 330 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque. However, competing models were still more powerful, and the Crossfire was eventually discontinued in late 2007.
