How to Add a Credit Card to an Amazon Account

Amazon.com is a website that allows individuals to buy and sell books, DVDs, CDs, electronics and much more. If you plan on making purchases from Amazon, you will need to add a payment method to your account. Credit cards are a common way to make payments and can be easily added if you know how to maneuver through your online Amazon account.

  Log on to your Amazon account from the homepage (see Resource).

  Click "Your Account" on the top right-hand side of your screen.

  Go to the second section called "Payments" and choose "Add a Credit Card."

  Select the credit card type from the drop-down menu. Add the credit card number in the designated box, then type in your name as it appears on your card. Use the last drop-down box to enter the credit card's expiration date.

  Select or type in your billing address. Click the yellow button at the bottom of the page when you are done. Your credit card will be added to your account.
