Remove all of the parts supplied with your HP 2410 printer from the original box. Lay them out on a table so that you can have easy access to the various components.
- 2
Plug the HP 2410's attached power cable into a wall outlet. Connect one end of the included USB cable to the input port on the back of the printer and connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB input on your computer.
- 3
Align the HP 2410's front panel cover over the buttons on the top right corner of the unit. Press down on the front panel cover until it snaps into place.
- 4
Insert one end of the included phone cord into the phone jack on the back of the printer. Plug the other end of the phone cord into the telephone jack in your home. This is only necessary if you plan on using the fax sending or receiving capabilities of the HP 2410.

Lift open the lid of the HP 2410 to reveal the printer cartridge bays. Remove all packaging material from the printer cartridges supplied with the printer and insert them into the bays. The cartridges can only be inserted one way and will "click" into place when properly secured. Line up the arrows on the cartridges with the arrows on the inside of the device for proper installation. After the cartridges have been installed, close the lid. Your HP 2410 is now assembled.

How to Assemble the HP 2410
The HP PSC 2410 Photosmart "All-in-One" printer from Hewlett Packard can print, fax, copy and scan documents. It connects to your PC through a USB cable. As with most computer hardware, the HP 2140 doesn't come fully assembled right out of the box. A few components -- like the ink cartridges -- require assembly during the initial setup process. You also need to connect the printer to your computer before you can start using it.
