How to Find Out If Someone Was Arrested in Missouri

Criminal records are available to the public in the United States. Employers may use these records to find out background information about employees. You may also use these records to find out information about your neighbors. In Missouri, finding out if someone was arrested can be accomplished easily.

      Visit the Missouri State Highway Patrol's official website and click on "Criminal Record Check."

      Print the "Criminal Record Check Form." Fill out your general information section.

      Identify which type of record check you want to process. You can chose either a "Name Search" or "Fingerprint Search." The fee for the fingerprint search is higher.

      Write a check or money order to the "State of Missouri, Criminal Record System Fund."

      Mail your form and processing fee to the Missouri State Highway Patrol's post office box in Jefferson City, Missouri.
