How to Find the Gas Mileage of a Jeep

Jeep offers some of the most accomplished 4-by-4 off-roaders on the market. They are known for being rugged, comfortable and talented. Fuel economy, though, is always something that many of us want to know about when considering buying a new car, especially with 4-by-4s. They are known to consume more fuel than vehicles in most other sectors.

Move your cursor up to the bar that runs across the top of the screen. You will see the words "Vehicle Lineup" in the top left under the Jeep logo. Run your cursor over this and a pull-down menu will appear. Click on "View All Vehicles" at the bottom of the menu. A web page will load up, showing the selection of Jeep vehicles.

Run your cursor over the model you are interested in. A pop-up box will appear over the image of the particular 4-by-4 with basic fuel economy information. You can also flick between the current year and the previous year at the top of the screen. For more details on a particular car's fuel economy, click on the fuel economy box, and you will be taken through to the model's features page.

Move your pointer over the the "MPG" box. This is located to the left of the main image. In the MPG box, there is a summary of the car's fuel economy. Underneath it is a short sentence that is underlined. Click on it and you will be taken to a comprehensive list of all the cars in the Jeep range, their specs and their individual mpg figures; both for city driving and highway driving. Scroll up and down to locate the fuel figures you require. Again, you can change the model year at the top using the "Select Your Vehicle Year" option.
