How to Have a Female Child in Virtual Villagers 2

The second chapter of "Virtual Villagers," "The Lost Children," poses new challenges, as a male and female villager must figure out how to survive in their new surroundings. As if surviving on an island isn't difficult enough, the two villagers must find a way to survive with a village full of children. Some of your villagers may get old, fall sick or die. To ensure that your village's population steadily increases, you must have female babies. Female babies are doubly beneficial, because they can work as they grow and help populate your village once they reach maturity.

  Left-click and hold on a male villager.

  Drag the male villager on top of a female villager.

• 3

  Look to see if the male and female go inside the hut.

• 4

  Push "3" while the two villagers are inside the hut. You will have a baby girl if mating is successful.
