How to Layer Dior Mascara

Skip the hassle of applying false lashes and layer Dior mascara onto your eyelashes instead. Dior mascara is pricier than drugstore brands, but it offers high quality ingredients that make for long, thick, beautiful eyelashes. Dior offers nine different mascara formulas such as waterproof, lengthening, volumizing and strengthening. The various formulas also utilize different applicator wands, which will help to create different looks. Regardless of the formula you choose, layering the mascara will produce the most dramatic result.

  Pull applicator out of mascara tube.

  Brush applicator lightly over a tissue to remove excess mascara. This will decrease the chance of mascara clumping.

  Apply Dior mascara to the underneath of top lashes while holding mascara applicator horizontally. Start at the lash base and move the wand up to the tip of lashes.

  Apply mascara to the top of the lashes to add additional volume, while holding mascara applicator horizontally. Start at the lash base and move the wand up to the tip of lashes.

  Re-coat the applicator with mascara.

  Brush applicator lightly over a tissue to remove excess mascara.

  Hold applicator vertically and brush applicator over top lashes using several strokes.

  Wait two minutes for eyelashes to dry and then repeat horizontal and vertical application to layer mascara. If there is any clumping, run a fine-toothed eyelash comb through eyelashes for separation.
