How to Select Background Changes in IE6

Internet Explorer 6, or simply IE6, was the default Web browser that was shipped with Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003. IE6 allows you to select text and background colors of Web pages that are displayed on your browser. This is designed to increase contrast between screen elements. Note that you may need to be an administrator to perform this task.

  Launch Internet Explorer 6 from the Start menu or desktop shortcut, whichever is convenient.

  Click the "Tools" menu and select "Internet Options."

  Click the "General" tab and select the "Colors" button.

  Single-click to remove the check-mark next to 'Use Windows colors."

  Click the "Background" button. This will open a new dialog box with a list of color choices.

  Make a background color selection and click "OK." Click "Apply" to end task.
