Go to a website that lets you send free, unlimited messages. You can find links to some of these websites in the Resources section below.

Enter the recipient's cell phone number in the "To" field. Also select the recipient's carrier from the drop-down list, for instance, Verizon or AT&T.

Type in the message in the "Message" box on the page, and click "Send." If your message requires more than 160 characters, type the rest of the message in a new "Message" box and send it again. Your SMS will be split into two or more portions, but the entire message will be delivered to the recipient.

How to Send Free SMS With Unlimited Words
There are a number of online tools that let you send free SMS worldwide to any number you want. Most of these websites do not require you to register first. The only catch is that you can only send 160 characters per SMS. Websites such as Text4Free, Sendsmsnow and Seasms let you send multiple text messages one after the other.
