Send the ringtones straight from the Internet to your cellular device. Many websites--for instance, Zedge, Myxer or Phonezoo--let you select ringtones on the website. Simply enter the cell phone number to which you'd like to send the ringtone via text message. When you open the text message on your phone, the ringtone will automatically be saved in the "Sounds" or "Tones" folder of your phone.

Send the ringtone from your computer's hard drive. Connect the phone to the computer via a USB cable and access its folder from "Start," "My Computer", where the phone will be listed as a removable drive.
Inside the main folder, you will find several subfolders. Open the one that contains ringtones--for instance, "Sounds" or "Tones." Once you open the subfolder, drag and drop the ringtone saved on your hard drive to this folder. The ringtone will be copied to your phone. Now disconnect the cable.

Send the ringtone from another one of your cell phones via Bluetooth. On most phones you can enable Bluetooth capability by going to "Menu," "Connectivity," "Bluetooth," "On." When you enable it on both phones, select the particular ringtone that you want to send and go to "Options," "Send via Bluetooth." The phone will then search for Bluetooth devices in range. Select the recipient phone from the list, and enter a password (such as 0000). You have to enter this password on both the devices for the file to transfer. Once you receive it, your phone will prompt you to specify the destination folder for the ringtone. You can choose "Sounds" or any other folder of your choice.

How to Send a Ringtone to a Mobile Phone
To send a ringtone to your phone, you have a number of options. Some websites let you send the latest MP3 ringtones direct to your phone from the Internet. Using these sites, you can send tones to most of the major network carriers in the United States. Another option is to download a ringtone to your computer or make one yourself, and then transfer it to the phone via a USB data/sync cable. Or you can send them via Bluetooth from another cell phone device.
