How to Uninstall Pro Tools LE

Pro Tools LE is a professional-grade sound recording and mixing program (created by the same company that produces Avid) used to cut together audio for soundtracks, movies and albums. The program does use a large amount of hard drive space, so if you no longer need Pro Tools LE installed on the computer, delete the software from the system and reclaim the used storage space.

Remove the Pro Tools LE dongle from your computer system's USB port.

Click "Start," "Control Panel," then select "Programs." Choose "Installed Programs" and a window loads onto the screen, showing all the programs currently installed on the system.

Scroll through the list until you find "Pro Tools LE." Select it, then choose "Remove." A prompt appears, asking if you are sure you want to delete the software. Choose "Yes" and Pro Tools LE is deleted from the computer.
