How to Use the GPS on the Kyocera KX18

The Kyocera KX18 is a slider phone that has the push-to-talk feature. This phone has a built-in camera, speakerphone and access to a Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) system. To access the GPS feature, you need to open the Amp'd Live program. You can download ringtones, wallpaper or access the Internet with this program. You may be charged a fee or airtime minutes to use this feature. Check with your wireless provider to find out any charges in advance.

      Press the blue "Amp'd/OK" button on your phone to open the Amp'd Live menu.

      Use the directional arrows on the keypad and select the "News & Lifestyle" option.

      Choose "Find It" to access the GPS feature. You can use this feature to download directions or obtain a map.

      Enter the address (state, city, street number and street address) of your destination using the phone's keypad.

      Press the "OK" button to begin your GPS search. It may take a minute to download the information to your Kyocera KX18.
