Kawasaki Eliminator Specifications

    • The Kawasaki Eliminator is a cruiser-style street bike that has been in production since 1985. As of 2009, only the Kawasaki Eliminator 125 is currently in production. It is an entry-level cruiser that is aimed at new motorcycle riders and is often used as a training bike in motorcycle schools. An identical model is manufactured under licence by Bajaj Motors.

    Dimensions and Exterior

    • The Kawasaki Eliminator 125 measures 41.3 inches in height, 30.7 inches in width and 84.6 inches in length, with a ground clearance of 6.1 inches, a wheelbase of 57.9 inches, a dry weight of 291 pounds, and a curb weight of 319.6 pounds. It has a fuel capacity of 3.4 gallons. The bike comes equipped with a handlebar lock, exterior covers, rubber hand grips, folding rear-view mirrors, a rear fender and a kick stand.

    Engine and Transmission

    • The Eliminator 125 is equipped with a four-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder, two-valve engine with a single overhead cam. The engine displaces 124 cc and has a compression ratio of 9.6 to 1 and a bore and stroke of 2.17 and 2.06 inches. The engine is powered by a single 28 mm Mikuni BS28 carburetor and is mated to a five-speed transmission.

    Chassis

    • The high-tensile steel chassis has a rake of 34 degrees and a front fork diameter of 1.3 inches. The front is fitted with telescopic fork suspension with a travel of 5.5 inches, while the rear is fitted with a twin-sided steel swing-arm suspension with 3.1 inches of travel and two shock absorbers. The Eliminator 125 uses a 90/90-17 tire for the front and a 130/90 R15 for the rear. Hydraulic disc brakes are fitted in the front and a drum brake in the rear.
